Our Story

The wine industry has always been controlled by gatekeepers — people who believe that only a few get to benefit from its booming business. What fun is that?

Lucy’s is going to celebrate the unsung heroes in wine — small batch makers, BIPOC artisans, queer and women owned vineyards. We’re going to do it because that’s where the most delicious and interesting wine is coming from. We’re going to do it because it’s what Seattle needs. We’re also going to do it because it’s who we are.

Lucy’s is a wine bar, bottle shop, and space for discovering the world in a glass.

Lucy’s is a place for the community — which is why we’re asking our community to help us out.

We’re raising money to bring our special space to life. Nestled in lower Magnolia by Fisherman’s Terminal, Lucy’s is going to be in a gorgeous mid-century building that has an active artisan workshop attached. This initial investment will help as we create the perfect tasting room, bottle shop, and wine library.

If all goes well, we’ll be up and running in the spring of 2024 and you can stop by for a glass. It all begins with an idea.
